Booking Priorities

A Busy Campus

We host an average of 2000 events per year. Participation ranges from thousands, during Commencement, to small group meetings for a few. Each event is analyzed by the staff at Campus and Community Events and entered in our reservation system. Sometimes the campus is overwhelmed with activity. During busy times, we take care not to protect our resources.  This is accomplished through strategic planning, prioritization and appropriate lead time!

Because the demand for certain spaces is high, we have set general booking priorities. These priorities are divided by academic year (mid August to mid May) and summer. We try to address most needs, but the need for establishing booking priorities helps us better fulfill the mission of the College. Once the booking priorities have been met, we follow the "first come, fist served" rule.
